Well, here it is...the Sunday after Thanksgiving. What a wonderful holiday break from school and work. The entire family was together for Thanksgiving except for my niece, Christina. It was great to spend time with everyone and eat like kings. Thanks for all the wonderful food mom! After the feast we went through all the sale ads and made a plan for our shopping trip. Yes, we go shopping on "black Friday". This year we took it easy. We left at 5:30a.m. and got home around 9:30p.m. What a fun time we had! I haven't laughed that hard since I don't know when. On Saturday we visited some more, took the kids to the mall, and then to the parade. Today was grocery shopping, church, and some more Christmas shopping. I am a little tired and I have to go back to work tomorrow. I am thankful that I had such a wonderful break and that I have a job to go back to, I just don't know where the time went. Here's hoping that all of you had a pleasant Thanksgiving with new memories to cherish.

Happy Birthday Anthony!
Well, here it is, Nov. 24th otherwise known as "November back & forth" at our house. It was 15 years ago today that I became a mother. How did the time go so fast? As Anthony woke up this morning he was greeted with the usual "happy birthday" greetings except from his dad. Todd told him "hey it's Nov. back and forth"! You see, when Anthony was about 2 he told us that his birthday was Nov. back and forth rather than Nov. 24th. What a fun memory. It's been awhile since I've thought of that...thanks Todd. Now here we are 15 years later and he has begun to count down the days until he can get his drivers license:-0 Why as teens do we rush everything and then as adults we try to hold on to yesterday? Anyway it was a good day for Anthony. He was a bit grumpy that he had to go to school but he lived. He also got to open his present today rather than waiting for his party on Wednesday. We bought him an xbox 360 and he's been sitting in front of the tv since he opened it, but only after thanking us and telling us that we are the best parents ever:-D
Well my precious boy, Happy Birthday...we love you.

Life without a computer
Have any of you gone without your home computer for two weeks? Let me assure you it is not always an easy task. By the way...thanks to the idiot who sent the virus in a spam e-mail disguised as someone I may know! Jerk!!! I don't know why people find pleasure in harming others and their property. Oh well, thanks to the PC Tech students at school we now have our computer back and running. Yeah! I thought my kids would drive me completely crazy! We don't use the computer for much more than communicating with friends but you don't realize how much you use it until you can't. I would find myself wandering around thinking about what I usually do with some extra time. At least I got some painting done:)
So Deb, since we are up and running again, I will be posting more often;)
